What are the benefits of dental implants?
Dental implants are the modern way to replace missing teeth. They look and feel completely natural, which makes them the prosthetic of choice for the discriminating patient who wants the best contemporary dentistry has to offer. With dental implants or implant supported dentures, you can eat what you like and never worry about slippage, adhesives, or future bone loss. Plus, dental implants will keep you looking much younger – longer.
What does the implant process entail?

The first part of the implant process is determining the health of your existing bone, general health, and general oral health. Our comprehensive exam includes health history, x-rays, your goals for your teeth and smile, and a complimentary CBCT scan. The CBCT gives us a view of your anatomy that allows us to optimize implant placement for your needs.
Implants involve two stages. The first is the placement of the implant itself. An implant exacts as a fake “tooth root”. After placement, the implant will become a part of your bone. When stabilized, implants are then ready to have crowns or dentures secured in place. There are options for temporary teeth while your implants are going through the integration stage (becoming a part of your bone). In all cases, we use implants that are the best kind to ensure lasting, stable restorations.
Implants are a safe, effective, and proven way to have natural-looking, permanent teeth. They also prevent the bone loss associated with missing teeth as well as sagging and premature aging of the face due to a deteriorating jaw bone. Best of all, they keep your smile radiant.

Dental Implants versus Dental Bridges
